By now a familiar and well-established partner event to the gastronomic congress, The Wine Edition Wines from Spain will present an extensive and expansive programme and visitors to the dedicated auditorium and exhibition space in IFEMA can enjoy a large selection of presentations, demonstrations and tasting experiences featuring wines from across Spain and beyond.
Spain’s wine regions, and beyond
The exhibition space and tasting area of The Wine Edition Wines from Spain will paint a compelling picture of the country’s rich winemaking tradition, representing a wide range of regions, from the volcanic lands of Tenerife in the Canary Islands to Córdoba in Andalucia and the famous wine region of La Rioja.
Visitors can experience and taste wine from a vast number of winemakers, including Torres, González Byass, Alta Pavina, Méndez Rojo, Entrecanales Domecq and many more.
As in previous editions, a mix of established brands and new operators will come together with profiles from gastronomy to showcase the diverse world of wine. Some highlights of the tasting area include:
- A presentation exploring the signature wines from the world-renowned Marqués de Cáceres, paired with food by Madrid restaurant Pabú on Monday 29th
- Pairing wines from Rioja with the fusion food of Madrid restaurant Tripea, delivered by chef Roberto Martinez Foronda and Pablo Franco, of DOCa Rioja, the regulatory board designation of origin in La Rioja, on Tuesday 30th
